Abstract: | Presents overview of preparation and field activities of Belgian Antarctic Research Expedition (BELARE) to Sør-Rondane Mountains from 25 November to 4 December 2004 via Cape Town and Novolazarevskaya station. Main purpose of expedition was to investigate site for proposed new Belgian research station. Members of Japanese Antarctic Research Expeditions visited Asuka field station and vehicle depot, both closed for 13 years, to evaluate their condition. |
