| Abstract: | Reports sampling of soil profiles from alpine and subalpine tundras in Kilpisjärvi and Silisvarri and from present limit of pine forests in Sevettijärvi. Analyses main element concentrations and finds that abundance of main elements in silicate and amorphous precipitate fractions vary partly due to bedrock formation and partly due to fertility and verdancy of study sites. |
