Record #178349:

Late Silurian reconstruction indicated by migration of reef biota between Alaska, Baltica (Urals), and Siberia (Salair) / Anna I. Antoshkina, Constance M. Soja.

Title: Late Silurian reconstruction indicated by migration of reef biota between Alaska, Baltica (Urals), and Siberia (Salair) / Anna I. Antoshkina, Constance M. Soja.
Author(s): Antoshkina, Anna I.
Soja, Constance M.
Date: 2006.
In: GFF. (2006.), Vol. 128 (2006)
Abstract: Similarities in micro- and macro-biotas, now located in geographically disparate sites, enable palaeobiogeographical reconstruction to be made for Northern Hemisphere in Late Silurian. Concludes that there was marine connection between reefs in Salair (south-west Siberia) and similar reef communities of Urals and Alaska evolving along margins of Uralian Seaway.
Notes:

Keywords: 574 -- Ecology.
56 -- Palaeontology.
593.4 -- Parazoa.
