Abstract: Reports on survey of participants in Chignik salmon fishery cooperative. Notes that cooperative was established with aim of reducing number of boats fishing for salmon in expectation of higher quality of catch and lower costs. Finds that most cooperative members thought initiative was proving to be economically successful and was achieving improvements in quality.
