Record #177923:

PARCS synthesizes records to describe past climates / Anon.

Title: PARCS synthesizes records to describe past climates / Anon.
Date: 2006.
In: Witness the Arctic. (2006.), Vol. 12(1) (2006)
Abstract: Describes Paleoenvironmental Arctic Science Program which coordinates research aimed at understanding palaeoenvironmental changes in Arctic and how they relate to Arctic systems and Earth systems in general. Notes that recent results based on synthesis of 600-year record have demonstrated that high-resolution proxy climate records from Arctic preserve signature of summer temperature that is related both to global mean temperature and Arctic oscillation. Also investigates pattern of Holocene thermal maximum.
Notes:

Witness the Arctic. Vol. 12(1) :7 (2006).
