| Abstract: | Investigates effects of sea-ice distribution, properties and small-scale features on atmosphere, using HIRHAM4 in sensitivity studies, systematically with different model settings, each of which incorporates lower boundary forcing data in different manner. Achieves partial separation of dynamic and thermodynamic processes by utilising sea-ice drift data, enabling investigation of development of sea-ice anomalies in Laptev Sea, where positive air temperature anomalies are identified as being key driving factors for development of negative sea-ice anomalies. |
