| Abstract: | Studies gene pool of indigenous (Khanty and Komi) populations of Shuryshkarskiy Rayon. Presents results with reference to demography, population, mollecular-genetic and epidemiological aspects. Draws conclusions on biological and reproductive potential of population, mobility and extent of mixing with other ethnic groups, course of certain socially significant diseases (such as hepatitis and opisthorcosis). Considers origins and stages in ethnogenesis of Khanty and Komi based on analysis of wide spectrum of genetic markers. Carries out statistical analysis of health indicators of region's population. |
