Vems landskap? - Ett antropologiskt perspektiv på landskapsuppfattning inom renskötseln / Anna Järpe.

Title: Vems landskap? - Ett antropologiskt perspektiv på landskapsuppfattning inom renskötseln / Anna Järpe.
Translated title: Whose landscape? - An anthropological perspective on landscape perception in reindeer tending.
Author(s): Järpe, Anna.
Date: 2005.
Publisher: Tromso: Nordic Council for Reindeer Husbandry Research
Language: Norwegian.
In: 13. nordiske forskningskonferansen om rein og reindrift. (2005.),
Abstract: Considers livelihood of reindeer tending, using ecologic anthropological perspective. Suggests alternative to what author terms "scientific understanding" of world. Argues that relations people have with environment, and values they ascribe to it, are perceptions that are shaped and affected in interactions with surrounding world, and that these perceptions vary between groups of people; also that issues of land use and land rights are not only about management of landscape but about whose landscape is being managed.
