| Abstract: | Reports results of new studies including morphology, DNA fingerprinting and isoenzyme electrophoresis, which indicate that grasses from area around Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard, where identification was uncertain (and confusion existed between species Arctophila fulva and Dupontia fisheri), are most likely of hybrid origin, involving both species as parent. Also describes morphological characteristics. |
