| Abstract: | Discusses dynamics of ablation and relationship with climate changes. Presents results of monitoring of mass balance of Hans glacier since 1989. Results indicate that ablation depends more evidently on daily mean and maximum air temperature and wind speed than on total and net radiation. Uses results to construct empirical equations, which in turn enable computation of course and total ablation during summer season. |
