Das Hintere Langtalkar (Schobergruppe, Nationalpark Hohe Tauern) - ein beispeil für die komplexe morphodynamik in der hochgebirgsstufe der Zentralalpen / Gerhard Karl Lieb, Viktor Kaufmann, Michael Avian.

Title: Das Hintere Langtalkar (Schobergruppe, Nationalpark Hohe Tauern) - ein beispeil für die komplexe morphodynamik in der hochgebirgsstufe der Zentralalpen / Gerhard Karl Lieb, Viktor Kaufmann, Michael Avian.
Translated title: Hinteres Langtalkar (Schober Mountains, Hohe Tauern National Park, Austria) - an example of complex morphodynamics in the high mountain zone of the Central Alps.
Author(s): Lieb, Gerhard Karl.
Kaufmann, Viktor.
Avian, Michael.
Date: 2004.
Language: German.
In: Mitteilungen der Österreichischen Geographischen Gesellschaft. (2004.), Vol. 146 (2004)
Abstract: Discusses geomorphodynamic processes under permafrost conditions in cirque 2350-300 m a.s.l., based on long term study using photogrammetric and geodetic data and existing maps. Enclosed orthophoto map sheet includes 1:5000 scale maps of topography, velocity magnitude over 1969-91 and velocity vectors for period 1999-2000. In addition to Hinteres Langtalkar, six other rock glaciers can be identified. Identifies debris transport system forming excellent example of rock glacier advancing down steep slope. Findings prove geomorphological features in this cirque developed continuously through Holocene.
