Record #177351:

Late Pleistocene chronology of glacial Lake Old Crow and the north-west margin of the Laurentide Ice Sheet / Grant D. Zazula, Alejandra Duk-Rodkin, Charles E. Schweger, Richard E. Morlan.

Title: Late Pleistocene chronology of glacial Lake Old Crow and the north-west margin of the Laurentide Ice Sheet / Grant D. Zazula, Alejandra Duk-Rodkin, Charles E. Schweger, Richard E. Morlan.
Author(s): Zazula, Grant D.

Schweger, Charles E.
Morlan, Richard E.
Date: 2004.
Publisher: Amsterdam: Elsevier
In: Quaternary glaciations - extent and chronology : Part II North America. (2004.),
Abstract: Reports new stratigraphic and geochronological data from Bluefish Exposure, northern Yukon, a site potentially providing crucial evidence for reconstruction of chronology of late Pleistocene glacial Lake Old Crow. Also presents regional synthesis refining chronology of north-western margin of Laurentide Ice Sheet and evolution of drainage systems in north-western North America. Describes Bluefish Exposure's setting, stratigraphy and dating (lists new and relevant earlier age data) and interpretation of Upper Bluefish Unit. Describes evolution of glacial Lake Old Crow and inferred Middle-Wisconsinan (MIS 3) advance of Laurentide ice along north-west margin (10 ka earlier than in other reconstructions)
