Discusses decision-making processes within CCAMLR, and includes notes on developments in computing, satellite navigation, oceanographic sampling, acoustic techniques, and molecular biology. Compares single species and dependent species approaches to management of fish stocks, and requirement to allow for recovery of depleted populations.
