Record #177077:

Pb isotopic compositions of sulphide minerals from the Yellowknife gold camp: metal sources and timing of mineralization / Brian L. Cousens, Hendrik Falck, Edmond H. van Hees, Sean Farrell, Luke Ootes.

Title: Pb isotopic compositions of sulphide minerals from the Yellowknife gold camp: metal sources and timing of mineralization / Brian L. Cousens, Hendrik Falck, Edmond H. van Hees, Sean Farrell, Luke Ootes.
Author(s): Cousens, Brian L.
Falck, Hendrik.
van Hees, Edmond H.
Farrell, Sean.
Ootes, Luke.
Date: 2006.
Publisher: St John's, Nfld: Geological Association of Canada, Mineral Deposits Division
In: Gold in the Yellowknife Greenstone Belt, Northwest Territories : results of the EXTECH III multidisciplinary research project. (2006.),
Abstract: Reports results of Pb isotope study of gold-related sulphide mineralization. Findings confirm several distinct stages of gold mineralizing events at ages between 2.7 Ga and 1.24 Ga but authors conclude that more research is necessary to distinguish variety of potential processes contributing to Pb isotopic heterogeneity.
