| Abstract: | Collection of eight articles reporting results of 2003-04 expedition to complete inventory of marine benthic fauna around Bouvet Island, and improve understanding of biogeographic patterns and relations of marine benthic invertebrates in Southern Ocean. Includes articles on mega-epibenthos; trophic structure of marine ecosystem; coastal bryozoans; preliminary assessment of biogeographic affinities of new shelled marine molluscs; new species of sea slug Tritonia dantarti; new species of crab Paralomis elongata from Spiess seamout; and close relation and possible speciation from Atyloella magellanica of new amphipod species Atyloella tribinicuspidata. |
