| Abstract: | Reports changes in vegetation, soil microbiology and soil properties during a three-year study in Fennoscandian tundra (test sites located at border between Norway and Finland, where fences divide areas of land used in different ways by reindeer herders). Finds that reindeer grazing and trampling not only change vegetation cover but also affect soil properties, microbial community and soil respiration. |
