Record #176763:
Day-to-day variations of migrating semidiurnal tide in the mesosphere and thermosphere / Yasunobu Miyoshi, Hitoshi Fujiwara.
Title: | Day-to-day variations of migrating semidiurnal tide in the mesosphere and thermosphere / Yasunobu Miyoshi, Hitoshi Fujiwara. |
Author(s): | Miyoshi, Yasunobu. Fujiwara, Hitoshi. |
Date: | 2006. |
In: | National Institute of Polar Research. Memoirs. Special Issue. (2006.), Vol. 59 (2006) |
Abstract: | Examines behaviour of migrating semidiurnal tide for solar cycle moderate and geomagnetically quiet conditions, using general circulation model. Investigates day-to-day variabilities of migrating semidiurnal tide in mesosphere and thermosphere and relation with migrating semidiurnal tide generated in lower atmosphere. Results show that day-to-day variations are evident from troposphere to thermosphere. |
