Record #176763:

Day-to-day variations of migrating semidiurnal tide in the mesosphere and thermosphere / Yasunobu Miyoshi, Hitoshi Fujiwara.

Title: Day-to-day variations of migrating semidiurnal tide in the mesosphere and thermosphere / Yasunobu Miyoshi, Hitoshi Fujiwara.
Author(s): Miyoshi, Yasunobu.
Fujiwara, Hitoshi.
Date: 2006.
In: National Institute of Polar Research. Memoirs. Special Issue. (2006.), Vol. 59 (2006)
Abstract: Examines behaviour of migrating semidiurnal tide for solar cycle moderate and geomagnetically quiet conditions, using general circulation model. Investigates day-to-day variabilities of migrating semidiurnal tide in mesosphere and thermosphere and relation with migrating semidiurnal tide generated in lower atmosphere. Results show that day-to-day variations are evident from troposphere to thermosphere.
