Abstract: Determines methane (CH₄) flux at black spruce (Picea mariana) forest in central Alaska by applying three types of modified gradient method. Finds that, although diurnal variations of CH₄ flux by three methods are different, seasonal variation showed similar tendency: weak emission on snowpack, obvious emission around spring thaw and CH₄ uptake in late growing season.
