Record #176656:

A carapace of the bradoriid arthropod Mongolitubulus from the Early Cambrian of Greenland / Christian B. Skovsted.

Title: A carapace of the bradoriid arthropod Mongolitubulus from the Early Cambrian of Greenland / Christian B. Skovsted.
Author(s): Skovsted, Christian B.
Date: 2005.
In: GFF. (2005.), Vol. 127(3) (2005)
Abstract: Reports find of almost complete carapace from late Early Cambrian Bastion Formation of North-East Greenland, confirming that problematic spines described as Mongolitubulus henrikseni Skovsted & Peel, 2001, are derived from bradoriid arthropod. New specimen bears multiple spine-bases, some of which preserve ornamentation of rounded scales characteristic of co-occurring isolated spines. Cannot demonstrate that type species, M. squamifer, should be restored in similar fashion, raising possibility that two similar spines might be parts of quite different types of organisms.
