Record #176640:

Source model for the Mw 6.7, 23 October 2002, Nenana Mountain Earthquake (Alaska) from InSAR / Tim J. Wright, Zhong Lu, Chuck Wicks.

Title: Source model for the Mw 6.7, 23 October 2002, Nenana Mountain Earthquake (Alaska) from InSAR / Tim J. Wright, Zhong Lu, Chuck Wicks.
Author(s): Wright, Tim J.
Lu, Zhong.
Wicks, Chuck.
Date: 2003.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (2003.), Vol. 30(18) (2003)
Abstract: Determines coseismic surface deformation of, and source model for, Nenana Mountain Earthquake, using six interferograms, constructed from radar images from Canadian Radarsat-1 and European ERS-2 satellites. Modelling event as dislocations in elastic half space suggests that there was almost 0.9 m of right-lateral strike-slip motion at depth, on near-vertical fault, and that maximum slip in top 4 km of crust was less than 0.2 m.
