| Abstract: | Describes Jokkmokk granitoid (exposed in large plutonic massif north-west of Jokkmokk in northern Sweden) as light grey to white, fine-grained, with megacrysts of feldspar and glomeroporphyritic hornblende and biotite. Notes granitoid's unique calc-alkaline to alkali-calcic, metaluminous to weakly peraluminous, character with moderate LREE enrichment and flat HREE pattern, and flat to slightly positive Eu-anomaly. U-Pb TIMS zircon dating of granitoid gives age of 1883 Ma, coeval with emplacement of Haparanda suite. |
