Record #176584:

Petrology of a 1.95 Ga granite-granodiorite-tonalite-trondhjemite complex and associated extrusive rocks in the Knaften area, northern Sweden / Annika Wassström.

Title: Petrology of a 1.95 Ga granite-granodiorite-tonalite-trondhjemite complex and associated extrusive rocks in the Knaften area, northern Sweden / Annika Wassström.
Author(s): Wassström, Annika.
Date: 2005.
In: GFF. (2005.), Vol. 127(2) (2005)
Abstract: Examines two separate granitoid complexes which intruded supracrustal rocks of Knaften area at c. 1.95 Ga. Notes that felsic dykes and possible rhyolitic-dacitic reworked water-lain volcanic ash or tuffaceous rocks are associated with granitoids, but occur outside intrusion complexes. Suggests coarse-grained granitoid is oldest intrusion, followed by medium-grained, and later by aplitic-pegmatitic intrusions, with felsic dykes forming youngest generation of intrusions.
