Characteristics of carbonaceous aerosol in a two-week campaign at Ny-Ålesund / Zhouqing Xie, Xinming Wang, Liguang Sun, Nanye Long, Bangbo Cheng.

Title: Characteristics of carbonaceous aerosol in a two-week campaign at Ny-Ålesund / Zhouqing Xie, Xinming Wang, Liguang Sun, Nanye Long, Bangbo Cheng.
Author(s): Xie, Zhouqing.
Wang, Xinming.
Sun, Liguang.
Long, Nanye.

Date: 2005.
In: Chinese Journal of Polar Science. (2005.), Vol. 16(2) (2005)
Abstract: Investigates concentrations of organic carbon and elemental carbon in total suspended particle, at Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard. Back-trajectory analysis of air masses arriving at Ny-Ålesund reveals that long-range transport of polluted air plays insignificant role in organic carbon and elemental carbon levels, to which potential influence of local contamination was ascribed.
