Date: 2005.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2005.), Vol. 37(4) (2005)
Abstract: Discusses two large suspended sediment concentration pulses, recorded in 1998 in small snowmelt-fed stream on Ellesmere Island. Considers most likely cause of event to be rapid mass movement, as event occurred after majority of snow in watershed had melted, and was preceded by long period of relatively high temperature.
