Abstract: Describe movements of 113 radio-collared caribou from Denali caribou herd during period of unusual weather conditions affecting much of Alaska in September 1992 and also during subsequent year. Finds outmigration to be consolidated and easily noticed, but return protracted, with caribou drifting back to typical range from October 1992.
