Территориальный консерватизм у белой куропатки на Северном Ямале

Title: Территориальный консерватизм у белой куропатки на Северном Ямале
Title, transliterated: Territorialʹnyĭ konservatizm u beloĭ kuropatki na Severnom I︠A︡male / V.V. Tarasov.
Translated title: Territorial conservatism of willow grouse in northern Yamal.
Author(s): Tarasov, V. V.
Date: 2005.
Language: Russian.
In: Ėkologii︠a︡. (2005.), Vol. 3 (2005)
Abstract: Analyses age indicators of marked willow grouse,Lagopus lagopus, at their previous year's nesting site. Established relation between numbers of returning males to time of onset of spring. Shows that in northern Yamal, as opposed to in lower latitudes, some surviving birds do not return to their former nesting place. Suggests that white grouse living near northern limit of their habitat display polymorphism according to territorial behaviour strategy.
