Abstract: Detailed study of interior house screen of Gaanaxteidí Whale House in Chilkat Tlingit village of Klukwan, Alaska, attributed since first described by ethnographer George Thornton Emmons in 1916 to both Tlingit and Tsimshian artists. Reevaluation suggests Tsimshian influence on two Tlingit carvers.
