Record #175735:

Magmatic and tectonic history of the Leech River Complex, Vancouver Island, British Columbia: evidence for ridge-trench intersection and accretion of the Crescent Terrane / Wesley G. Groome, and 6 others.

Title: Magmatic and tectonic history of the Leech River Complex, Vancouver Island, British Columbia: evidence for ridge-trench intersection and accretion of the Crescent Terrane / Wesley G. Groome, and 6 others.
Author(s): Groome, Wesley G.
Date: 2003.
Publisher: Boulder, CO :
In: Geology of a transpressional orogen developed during ridge-trench interaction along the North Pacific Margin. (2003.),
Abstract: Conducts geochemical analyses of intrusive rocks of Leech River Complex and deduces Cretaceous to Eocene history. U-Pb geochronology and field investigations indicate at least two magmatic-metamorphic events: Late Cretaceous and early Middle Eocene, latter occurring during emplacement of Walker Creek intrusions.
Notes:

In: Geology of a transpressional orogen developed during ridge-trench interaction along the North Pacific Margin / Virginia B. Sisson, Sarah M. Roeske, Terry L. Pavlis, eds.
