Record #175697:

Climatic controls on streamflow and suspended sediment transport in three large middle Arctic catchments, Boothia Peninsula, Nunavut, Canada / Andrew C. Forbes, Scott F. Lamoureux.

Title: Climatic controls on streamflow and suspended sediment transport in three large middle Arctic catchments, Boothia Peninsula, Nunavut, Canada / Andrew C. Forbes, Scott F. Lamoureux.
Author(s): Forbes, Andrew C.
Lamoureux, Scott F.
Date: 2005.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2005.), Vol. 37(3) (2005)
Abstract: Measures streamflow, suspended sediment transport and meteorological variables during two field seasons to determine climate controls on daily discharge and suspended sediment load. Findings demonstrate sensitivity of middle Arctic watersheds to both winter snowpack and spring thermal conditions and provide basis for understanding hydrological impact of future climate changes.
