Abstract: | Analyses medico-legal autopsy and police data to identify causes and trends of violent deaths among children younger than four years in northern half of Sweden. Concludes that medical professionals have difficult task identifying and taking action against child abuse and promoting child safety especially in traffic and home environments. |
