| Abstract: | Conducts bio-optical measurements in high northern latitude waters by collecting optical and chlorophyll a concentration data in north polar region of Atlantic in summer. Finds majority of waters, hypothesised to be dominated by diatoms, to exhibit relatively high blue-to-green reflectance ratio but waters at other stations dominated by dinoflagellates and/or prymnesiophytes to show lower reflectance ratio. |
