Abstract: Describes colony of approximately 4,000 breeding pairs of emperor penguins immediately south of Snow Hill Island. Discusses possibility that this is same colony seen by C.A. Larsen during 1893-94 voyage of Jason, recently relocated from Larsen Ice Shelf.
