Relationship between large-scale climatic anomalies in the Asian Pacific, Amur river discharge, and Okhotsk Sea ice extend [extent] / Vladimir I. Ponomarev, Natalya I. Rudykh, Aleksandr Salomatin, Dmitrii Kaplunenko.

Title: Relationship between large-scale climatic anomalies in the Asian Pacific, Amur river discharge, and Okhotsk Sea ice extend [extent] / Vladimir I. Ponomarev, Natalya I. Rudykh, Aleksandr Salomatin, Dmitrii Kaplunenko.
Author(s): Ponomarev, Vladimir I.
Rudykh, Natalya I.
Salomatin, Aleksandr.
Kaplunenko, Dmitrii.
Date: 2005.
Publisher: Mombetsu: Okhotsk Sea & Cold Ocean Research Association
In: Proceedings of the 20th International Symposium on Okhotsk Sea and Sea Ice, Mombetsu, Hokkaido, Japan, 20-25 February 2005. (2005.),
Abstract: Examines regional features of climate variability on different time scales in Amur River basin and Okhotsk Sea ice extent and their relationship with Asian-Pacific climate variability. Bases study on statistical analyses of long-term precipitation records using methods including EOF decomposition and wavelet analysis. Statistics for precipitation and Amur River discharge and the relationship between them are estimated and links with Ohkhotsk Sea ice extent and climatic indexes discussed.
