| Abstract: | Uses previously devised model to calculate distribution of ionospheric parameters in polar regions particularly over Svalbard incorporating data from satellite radio tomography calculations. Results show complex and irregular structure of ionospheric parameters in high latitude regions. Finds that large-scale inhomogeneous features of high-latitude ionosphere affects essentially trajectories of ray paths of HF radio waves. |
