Abstract: Presents analysis of Lambert-equivalent reflectivities at 360 nm for period 1996-2002, with particular reference to sudden stratospheric warming (SSW) and ozone hole split over Antarctic in September 2002. Reflectivities per year, month and day for 2002 were low compared with data for previous years confirming absence of polar stratospheric clouds, which are major driving force for depletion of ozone over Antarctic, and support occurrence of reported major SSW. Lambert-equivalent reflectivity values in 2002 exhibit intra-annual trend that differs from previous years.
