| Abstract: | Presents detailed geomorphological analysis of region's relief and establishes paragenetic relations between glacial forms and associated terraces of pre-glacial and intraglacial lakes and estuaries. Employs kinetostratigraphic method of dating moraines in study of glacial deposits. Examines main characteristics of glaciodynamic structure of two Middle and one Late Pleistocene ice covers and chronological relation between glaciers of different centres. Determines age of last glaciation. Devises method of identifying residual glacioisistatic deformations of Neopleistocene sediments. Established analogues of Late-postglacial glacioisostatic elevations in Kola-Kareliya region and their relation to glacioeustatic changes in sea level. |
