Abstract: Overview of tides in Ross Sea, Antarctica, including areas beneath Ross Ice Shelf. Diurnal declinational tides occur once daily with amplitudes varying between 0.1 - 0.6 m at edge of ice shelf, and approximately one metre in south-eastern part where ice is several hundred metres thick.
