Record #173729:

Application of the planetary geodesy methods (the geoid theory) for the reconstruction of the Earth's interior structure in the western Antarctic / Rudolf Greku, Ksenya Bondar, Victor Usenko.

Title: Application of the planetary geodesy methods (the geoid theory) for the reconstruction of the Earth's interior structure in the western Antarctic / Rudolf Greku, Ksenya Bondar, Victor Usenko.
Author(s): Greku, Rudolf.
Bondar, Ksenya.
Usenko, Victor.
Date: 2005.
In: SCAR Report. (2005.), Vol. 23 (2005)
Abstract: Presents algorithm for calculation of differential geoid heights and anomalous harmonic densities inside the Earth, using expansion of external gravitational potential in series of spherical functions. Includes application of geopotential topography and anomalous harmonic densities for studying structural features of regional deep sections, and discusses structure of Scotia Arc region using gravimetric tomography method along typical latitudinal and longitudinal cross-sections, and also on maps of differential geoid for different ranges of spherical harmonics.
