Abstract: Studies area in axis of Mars-Batiscan and Cartier moraines. Bases deglaciation pattern on systematic mapping of glacial landforms by air photography and verification by fieldwork. Glacial margin was mainly controlled by topography. Deglaciation occurred between 11,460 and 10,860 cal kyr BP. Acceleration of ice retreat after Mars-Batiscan Moraine phase was followed by relatively stable retreat. New isochrones improve previous models of regional deglaciation, showing linear ice frontal positions with no visible re-entrant in axis of Ottawa River-Témiscamingue area.
