Record #173332:

Tree-ring analysis of five Picea glauca-dominated sites from the interior boreal forest in the Shakwak Trench, Yukon Territory, Canada / R. Zalatan, K. Gajewski.

Title: Tree-ring analysis of five Picea glauca-dominated sites from the interior boreal forest in the Shakwak Trench, Yukon Territory, Canada / R. Zalatan, K. Gajewski.
Author(s): Zalatan, R.
Gajewski, K.
Date: 2005.
In: Polar Geography. (2005.), Vol. 29(1) (2005)
Abstract: Five tree-ring chronologies from low-elevation stands of white spruce (Picea glauca) suggest significant climatic influence on tree growth in interior boreal forest sites. Comparison with regional climate data shows precipitation is more highly correlated with tree-ring width than temperature.
