Abstract: | Tantulocarida (crustacea) were first discovered in 1903 but not until 1983 was their taxonomic status established. Although they belong to mesobenthos, they were found in 2002 to inhabit shallow waters of White Sea. Describes their life cycle and illustrates their features. Concludes that there are many more species of tantulocarida than the 28 found so far. |
