Abstract: Summarises dive and movement data from young-of-the-year and yearling Steller sea lions equipped with satellite dive recorders in Gulf of Alaska and Aleutian Islands. Analyses and identifies distinctive movement patterns and dive characteristics, relates to age of animal and concludes that immature sea-lions are capable of making same types of movements as adults.
