Date: 2004.
In: Polar Geography. (2004.), Vol. 28(3) (2004)
Abstract: Barrow, Alaska (71.3° N, 156.5° W) is largest and most northerly native community in circumarctic region. Study facilitated examination of spatial characteristics of summer air temperature within 150km² area around Barrow in 2001-2002. Findings illustrate control of local maritime gradient, minor effects of urban infrastructure and correspondence between temperature and wind regime.
