| Abstract: | Describes newly discovered cryobiotic tardigrade species Hypsibius thaleri sp. Nov., from Nare glacier on Mt. Ama Dablam. Species belongs to Hypsibius klebelsbergi group, inhabiting cryoconite holes in glacier ablation zone. Provides morphometric data and notes on biology and distribution. Includes 39 electron micrographs. Provides key for identifying cryobiotic tardigrades of Hypsibius klebelsbergi-complex. |
