| Abstract: | Illustrates, describes and interprets evidence (glaciofluvial deposits, moraines, erratics, etc.) to reconstruct configurations and chronologies of ice lobes that emerged from mountain ice sheet of Darwin Cordillera during Last Glacial Maximum. Identifies five ice lobes, and at least six regional glacial advances from Late Pliocene-Early Pleistocene to Late Pleistocene and Late Glacial. Earliest interpreted is Río Grande Glaciation of around 2 Ma BP. Complementary digital maps on CD included with volume. |
