Shorebird and passerine abundance and habitat use at a high Arctic breeding site: Cresswell Bay, Nunavut / Paul B. Latour, Craig S. Machtans, Gerard W. Beyersbergen.

Title: Shorebird and passerine abundance and habitat use at a high Arctic breeding site: Cresswell Bay, Nunavut / Paul B. Latour, Craig S. Machtans, Gerard W. Beyersbergen.
Author(s): Latour, Paul B.
Machtans, Craig S.
Beyersbergen, Gerard W.
Date: 2005.
In: Arctic. (2005.), Vol. 58(1) (2005)
Abstract: Eleven shorebird and three passerine species were observed during survey at Cresswell Bay, Somerset Island, during breeding season (June and July 1995-97) and in August 1995 (post-breeding). Habitats included sedge marsh and wetland, shrub and herbaceous tundra in upland areas. Abundance and relatively high species diversity at high latitude warrants continued status as Canadian Wildlife Service key habitat site.
