Abstract: Satellite radio-collars used to track eight subadult (3-5 years old) male grizzly bears in NWT between May 1995 and June 1999. Average home ranges were 11,407 km², (SE=3849). Seasonal daily movement patterns were similar to previously reported adult males. Individuals tracking migration of caribou (Rangifer tarandus) may account for long range linear movement.
