Abstract: Develops Late Quaternary stratigraphic and chronological framework for Core B2-9 on slope of northern Bering Sea, based on correlation of Cycladophora davisiana (radiolarian) content with oxygen isotope records from deep-sea sediments. Finds that ice-rafted detritus increased during glacial periods and early to middle Holocene, and that sea ice volume on shelf extended and melted induced by later warm climate.
