Record #171860:

Water quality in Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska / Jerry M. Neff.

Title: Water quality in Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska / Jerry M. Neff.
Author(s): Neff, Jerry M.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Cambridge, MA: Arthur D. Little
Abstract: Reports extensive scientific programme to collect and analyse water samples from Prince William Sound and Gulf of Alaska, following crude oil spill on 24 March 1989. Results of analyses and scientific literature on effects of petroleum hydrocarbons on marine life suggest that spilled oil is unlikely to have adverse effects on plant and animal populations living in water column.
