Abstract: | Asks how important Samefolket was in SSR's activities. Gustav Park took over editorship when founder Torkel Tomasson died; elegy was given in Samefolkets Egen Tidning (first name) by Collinder in 1940. Park tried to combine two posts amid many difficulties, and Samefolket did not thrive until Israel Rong's editorship 1960-73. Magazine became institutional at meeting in Umeå in 1970, with Per Utsi as first chairman and alliance of SSR with Same Ätnam. |
